Football season at last :)

So much has been going on that my usual build up to the season with predictions and my "take" on high school and college football...just didn't happen On this Labor Day evening, I will do a little catch up and articulate where I am on this football season...this wonderful time of the year. First, I am a full fledged MDB fan this season. With my daughter back at the "Bible School", and three of my amigos from West Orange playing for the Bulldogs, I'm all in. Ian Watson, Dustin Wamsley and Caleb Parish are making the commute up to Lake County and really helping the team. Of course I have watched Davis Brown, Chad Simmons, Austin Warren and some of the other boys since they were babies...This past Friday night was an awful ambulance special as 3 kids were taken to the hospital. Ian seemed to be OK at SonQuest, but Janzen had to have surgery for his broken arm. A road trip to play First Academy - Leesburg this Friday night. My Bulldogs, the Crestview variety beat Pace in the KO Classic (huge) and then beat Milton to open the regular season. Very good start. As far as the national scene, I haven't watched many games yet, but Grayson out of the Atlanta area opened a can of WHOOP on Miami Central...more later. College season opened with Bama humiliating Meechigan and Cal losing to Nevada... FSU played a JV last week and will play a Freshman team this week. Serves no purpose what so ever but to make money and pad the record. The Gators beat Bowling Green but it was ugly. The new offensive coordinator was either shy or not allowed to open it up. The QB duel between Driskol and Brisset was allegedly going to be based upon their performance against Bowling Green, but Driskol got most of the snaps and they really didn't give Jacory a fair chance. I have nothing against Driskol, but I fell for the "play it out" message I guess. They are both talented players, but Driskol was very poor early in the game, but they stuck with him...Kyle Field in College Station awaits this week. UF has to improve a bunch over the next 4 days... We had out Fantasy League draft and the NFL season starts Wednesday night :) Outlaw
